Product Description

Dean and Stark Apparatus is also suitable to determine the water content of lubricating grease according to the test method specified in GB/T 512 Test Method for Water Content of Lubricating Grease. Dean and Stark Apparatus adopts double-unit structure. It can do determination for two samples.  It is a double unit type, so it can make measurement for two samples at the same time.The reaction is carried out under reflux in a solvent which is less dense than water to form an azeotrope. The apparatus allows the water to be separated from the condensed azeotrope preventing it from returning to the reaction mixture.
