Product Description:

Automatic Four-ball Friction tester is a floor standing instrument designed to determine the friction properties of extreme pressure oils and greases.

It has been applied in tribology research laboratories and in the routine quality control of finished lubrication products. The testing machine is designed and manufactured strictly according to the following ASTM standards: ASTM D2596, ASTM D2266, ASTM D4172.

Instrument Structure :
Automatic Four-Ball Lubricant Tester is mainly composed of a main unit, an external monitor set (with keyboard & mouse), a digital camera set and a loading set. 
Main unit, is mainly composed of a servo motor, a test frame, rigid brackets, a leverage beam, a chassis & base set, a storage drawer, a workbench (assemble/disassemble steel balls & ball bowl) and electronic control unit (ECU) inside.
Accessories, including a collet, a ball bowl, steel balls, a heating strip (heater), a temperature sensor and 2 force sensors (1 for friction coefficient test; 1 for weld point test) etc.  
Loading set, is consist of a weights holder, a weights cart and a complete set of loading weights of different masses, used for loading during testing.
