Product Description

The copper strip corrosion test bomb bath is designed and made as per standards of ASTM D130 . It is a multipurpose corrosion tester for petroleum products  and the Copper Strip Corrosion Testercan evaluate the anti-corrosive characteristic of inhibited mineral oil ,especially the steam turbine oil mixed with water to iron parts.   
 

Copper Strip Corrosion Test Apparatus is suitable to determine the corrosiveness to copper of aviation gasoline, aviation turbine fuels, automotive gasoline, tractor fuels, washing solvent, kerosene distillate, lubricating oil, and other petroleum products. The instrument has functions of temperature controlling, automatic timing and alarming.

Main structure

(1). Test bomb: to contain test sample.
(2). Constant temperature bath: It is the main part of the instrument. It contains 4 sample testing holes. You can put a test bomb or three test tubes in each hole.
(3). Control panel: Temperature controller with timer on it.
(4). Temperature sensor: To determine bath temperature.
(5). Bath cover (or assembly): bath cover or assembly with test bomb
(6). Thermometer: glass thermometer; it is used to check the temperature controller.
(7). Stirring device: it is composed of stirring motor and stirring shaft, and it is used for stirring the liquid in the constant temperature bath to keep its temperature uniform.
(8). Drain valve: to drain water in the bath.
(9). Overflow tube: When the liquid surface is higher than the overflow tube, the liquid will flow out of the bath to keep the liquids surface constant.
 

(1)Function button: Operate and preset the temperature controller.
(2) Move button: To move the cursor for setting temperature, time.
(3) Timing mark: this mark indicates timer start to work.
(4) Measured value: the measured value of the temperature in the bath.
(5) Set value: the set value of control temperature or timing time
(6) Decrease in value: decrease the set value of temperature and time.
(7) Increase in value: multifunction button
1. Increase the set value of temperature and time
2. Long-press it to start or stop the timer
3. Transform the display between the set value of temperature and the rest of time
