Product Description

Introduction:

Cone calorimeter is a modern device used to study the fire behaviour of small samples of various materials in condensed phase. Heat Release Rate, Mass loss rate,  CO and CO2 generation, Oxygen consumption .etc will be tested. It is widely used in the field of Fire Safety Engineering.

Fire tests on building materials and structures - Method for measuring the rate of heat release of products 

Feature:
1. The cone calorimeter adopts a sub-cabinet design, and the analysis cabinet is movable. It can be used for cone calorimeter test and can also be connected to a large heat release rate test system such as a single combustion test device, a real room fire and cables. Combustion classification test, in line with ISO 5660, ASTM E1354, GB/T16172 and other test standards;

2. Integrated test body and 19-inch analysis cabinet, embedded PC type 15-inch industrial touch screen computer, used for the entire control and test process;

3. The cone heater has a rated power of 5000W and a heat output of 0~100kW/m2. It is controlled by a PID temperature controller. The radiation cone can be placed horizontally or vertically;

4. The sample box can hold samples up to 100mm x 100mm x 50mm;

5. Sample weighing range 0 ~ 2000g; accuracy: 0.1g (also can provide different ranges and accuracy according to customer requirements);

6. The ignition system is a high-pressure spark generator of not less than 10KV, which uses rotary cylinders for automatic positioning;

7. Paramagnetic oxygen analyzer, range 0-25%, response time: 4 seconds, linear deviation: ≤0.5% FS, repeatability: ≤50 ppm O2, sensitivity drift: ≤ 0.1 vol.% O2/week or ≤ 1% Measured value/week (non-cumulative), whichever is the smaller, detection limit: ≤50 ppm O2;

8. Non-dispersive infrared CO and CO2 analyzer CO: 0 to 1%; CO2: 0 to 10%, measurement principle: infrared absorption, response time: 2.5 seconds, linear deviation: ≤1% FS, repeatability: ≤0.5% FS, Zero drift: ≤1% FS/week, detection limit: ≤0.5% FS;

9. Smoke density analysis uses a laser system to measure smoke density. The system consists of a photodiode, a helium-neon laser, the main detector, and an auxiliary detector;

10. The exhaust system is composed of a fan, a smoke hood, an exhaust pipe and an orifice flowmeter, etc. The flow rate of the exhaust fan is adjustable from 0 to 50g/s, and the accuracy is 0.1g/s;

11. The ring-shaped sampler is installed in the air intake duct at 685 mm from the smoke collecting hood. There should be 12 small holes on the sampler to homogenize the airflow components;

12. The temperature of the airflow is measured by a fitted thermocouple with a closed node of 1.6 mm in diameter. The thermocouple should be installed 100 mm above the orifice plate;

13. Integrated gas pretreatment system, including sampling pump, filter, condenser, peristaltic pump, moisture filter;

14. Condenser temperature: 0~5 degrees, diaphragm pump, flow rate: 3 l/min, pressure: 2.5bar;

15. Humidity alarm unit, when the moisture in the sample gas is too high, it can automatically alarm and communicate through the test software;

16. Flow alarm unit, when the dust in the sample gas is blocked, it can automatically alarm to prompt the replacement of the filter device;

17. The SB type heat flow meter is selected, the design range is 0~100k W/m, the accuracy of the heat flow meter is ± 3%, the repeatability is ± 0.5%, and a calibration report is attached;

18. Equipped with a portable water cooling system, when using heat flow timer, users do not need to connect the external water source and equipped with a water pipe;

19. In order to calibrate the response of the entire test system, methane calibration burner calibration is used to measure the C-coefficient value;

20. The data acquisition system can automatically record the output of instruments such as gas analyzer, orifice flow, thermocouple, etc.;

21. Equipped with software operating system, the test results include heat release rate, flue gas flow rate, C coefficient, sample ignition time and extinguishment time, total oxygen consumption, total smoke generation, mass loss rate, total heat release rate, effective combustion Heat, carbon dioxide production and carbon monoxide production.
