Automated Cold-Cranking Simulator:
The Cold cranking simulator (CCS) is an intermediate shear rate viscometer that predicts the ability of an oil to permit a satisfactory engine cranking speed under cold conditions.
The automated CCS GD-H1089 is a cold-cranking simulator for measuring apparent viscosity of engine oils from -40 °C to -5 °C. Automated sample loading, operation and solvent-free cleaning permit unattended processing of up to 12 samples at one time.
