What is Karl Fischer Titrator ?
The Karl Fischer reagent shows in dark brown due to molecular iodine contained, when reagent or sample contained water mixed, the color of solution will change to yellow, cause it generated the RNSO4CH3 due to chemical reaction. So we can judge the end point with visual method, from pale yellow to orange. However, the visual method has much error, and it will meet some troubles when measuring substance with color. As per the national standard, it mainly regulate the dead-stop titration method for judging the end point of Karl Fischer Reaction.
